How much is it?

I have a Weight Loss Package which is £270 (First session is 90 minutes and then three sessions of 60 minutes) or if you would prefer we can do it one 60 minute session at a time which is £60.

I’m sure lots of us have been there - emotional turmoil or maybe an awful day at work and we’re rooting out the ice cream and before we catch ourselves we’re half a tub down or half a cake has been inhaled. Maybe it’s the bar of chocolate every time we’re at a checkout. Maybe it’s the half (whole) pack of biscuits watching TV to stop the chattering in our mind so we can feel like we’re resting and recuperating (*that isn’t sustainable). Or we’re happy, elated, good news and we’re celebrating! Massive dinner with boozy drinks and dessert and maybe cheese because it’s cheese and we’re happy! We’re conditioned throughout our lives to link foods with emotions of high and low, and all of that isn’t a bad thing at all - except when we go too far with it and before we know it we use food as a coping mechanism for our emotions and we associate cake and fizzy wine with excitement and having a good time so let’s eat and drink and maybe we can force that feeling - we can’t. Hypnosis can help to break these associations, it can redirect that emotional need and those associations to much healthier and sustainable ways of coping, and it can do it quickly.

Because we reprogram your thoughts and beliefs. That’s it in a nutshell. That is actually it. The therapy part of hypnotherapy is the use of counselling skills so we can talk about the real reason your relationship with food has been unable to change. We can change how you think and feel about the problem foods and we can change your beliefs about yourself. If deep down you don’t believe you are worthy of weight loss then your subconscious will always find ways to carry that thought out, because it’s a belief. We can change that inner patter to be nicer and kind. We can lift your self esteem and your self confidence and we can rewire your subconscious to be motivated to change your lifestyle and most people tell me that they finally feel like themselves again.

So how many sessions?

In my extensive experience, most people are satisfied and comfortable with their change of lifestyle after five sessions and find that they really have achieved sustainable and manageable weight loss that stays with them, they maintain a weight they’re comfortable with and it feels effortless to them. We work with changing attitudes to problem foods, through aversion or a desire to only have a small amount. Amplifying the desire for healthy foods and bringing motivation for exercise and motivation to work towards the goal in mind. All throughout the hypnosis sessions I use suggestions to help raise self esteem and bring confidence and a positive self image. We work to get rid of any negative beliefs about the self that can be holding you back - some people have held negative beliefs about themselves for decades. Maybe most importantly we find sustainable ways to replace the benefits you would have got from the old lifestyle - it’s easy to not think there would be benefits to an unhealthy lifestyle but there must be, because why keep it for so long otherwise?
